Drawing Tutorial with paint shop pro 7

#1  Start with any photograph,, i borrowed this from GGILL,,

#2 Now i found a flower in the bunch i want to use so i cropped it down to the size i want.

#3. Now i put the flower on a layer all by itself. I also creat a layer called OUTLINE, and one called Background. I turned down the opacity on the flower layer so i can see the outline as i draw. I used the pen tool for the outline.

I use the pen tool for

the outline

And this is the seeting oofr the

#4. Now i add another layer under the  outline

layer and i call it color,, and now i secect the

color and i just paint it in with the paint brush

tool

#5. Okay first thing i did here was move the flower layer to the top so i can see the shadeing a little better, and than i just started to add darker colors an than i took my smudge tool and just smudged away,,

#6. Now just delete the flower layer and

  merge down, Now remember if you merge the

bottom layer your stuck with that color, so make sure its the color you want first.

And here is my final result,,, its a tad blurry cause i drew it in only 72dpi,, my bad lol
